Using a Graphics Calculator

So far we have used a graphics calculator to find the sine, cosine or tangent of a known angle.  We can also determine an angle if its trigonometric ratio is known using inverse trigonometric functions.

If you are using another calculator, consult its instruction booklet or ask your teacher for help.

Press QUIT to return to the Home Screen and clear the screen if necessary. Then press:

to obtain the angle whose sine is 0.5.
